Examinations

SIPBE follows the guidelines of all major leading Dance Societies; therefore our standards will be recognised and comparable if the candidate relocates to a different country.
Any of our fully qualified and up-to-date members may enter candidates for examinations. The examinations can be arranged in their own Studio, or maybe taken at one of our special open sessions that are held at our head office facilities or in pre-arranged venues. Teachers wishing to enter candidates in any of these centres should apply to head office.
The examination structure of the SIPBE is designed to cater equally for those pursuing dance purely as a leisure activity which gives the candidates a sense of achievement as well as the fun and pleasure of gaining awards as well as those wishing to progress to making dance their profession, either as a performer or dance teacher.
All our examiners hold a Fellowship Professional Qualification in the branches in which they examine and have been approved by our examinations board.
